Intellian is pleased to announce that all of Intellian Products have UKCA certification marking.
UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) is the product marking system intended to replace CE marking for the GB market (England, Wales and Scotland). It was introduced by the UK Government after the UK exited the EU.
- Since 1 January 2021, the UKCA mark has been the conformity assessment marking needed for Great Britain (England, Wales, and Scotland) for most goods currently subject to CE marking.
- To allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, manufacturers have been able to apply CE marking (without UKCA marking) until 1 January 2023 where the EU and UK requirements are the same.
- The transition period ends on 1 January 2023 when UKCA marking will become mandatory.
Intellian Production Dept will start applying UKCA certification to serial labels of products produced from October 2022.
